New Features and Improvements

IDE General

  • "Analyze Stacktrace" action added (copy a stacktrace from clipboard, get a toolwindow with clickable hyperlinks to source code)

Ruby Support

  • Much faster background code analysis
  • Many improvements to gem manager (frozen gems support, etc.)
  • New dialog for entering options when running a Rake task

Ruby on Rails Support

  • More Rails-aware rename
  • Find usages of partial views works
  • RubyMine automatically hides standard controller, model scaffold if rspec-rails gem is activated (or plugin installed) and vice-versa.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed problem with running single spec example
  • Bundled VibrantInk color scheme was updated (regexp and method parameters highlighting were fixed)
  • Other bug fixes
