Assign Roles Dialog

Administration > Configure user accounts > Assign roles to the selected users

Administration > Configure user accounts > Configure guest user roles > Assign roles

Use this dialog to configure the roles that will be assigned to a default user, guest user or a particular user, selected from the list.

Item Description
Role Use this drop-down list to select a role, which will be assigned to the user in question.
<Role> permissions
View the list of permissions, associated with the selected role. Note that permissions are assigned per project.
In projects
Use this  drop-down list to select a project, in which the permissions are granted. A user can have permissions for a specific project, or for all available projects.
Replace existing roles with newly created
Check this option to remove all existing roles from the list of roles for a particular user, and replace them with the selected role. If the option is not checked, the new role is added to the list.
Assign Click this button to assign a role to the selected users for a certain project. 
Cancel / Close
Discard all changes and close the dialog.
