Build Configuration

Build Configuration describes a class of builds of particular type, or a procedure used to create builds. Examples of build configurations are integration builds, release builds, nightly builds, etc.  A build configuration is characterized with its state. In particular, it can be paused or active. If a build configuration is paused, its build triggers are disabled until the configuration is activated.

You can explore details of a build configuration in its home page,  and change its settings in the editing page.

A build configuration can be paused or activated  in several places of the TeamCity UI:
