Creating and Editing Build Configurations

To create new build configuration for a project:

  1. On the Administration page, locate the desired project in the list.
  2. Click the Create build configuration link.
  3. Specify the General Settings. Refer to Create or Edit Build Configuration for detailed description of the options.
  4. Click the VCS settings button
  5. Create/edit VCS roots and specify VCS-specific settings. See Configuring VCS Settings and Version Control Systems Configuration for additional information on CVS roots and a detailed description of the VCS configuration options, respectively.
  6. Click the Build Runner button.
  7. On the Choose Build Runner page, select the desired build runner from the drop-down list, and define its settings. Refer to the 3.Build Runners topic for detailed description of the runner-specific options.
  8. Click Save.

To edit an existing build configuration:

  1. On the Administration page, locate the desired build configuration.
  2. Click the Edit link. The build configuration opens in the General Settings section of Create or Edit Build Configuration page.
  3. In the General Settings page, update options as required.
  4. Perform the tasks suggested in the Build Configuration Steps list, and save changes:
