TeamCity allows a user to log in as Guest user which does not require any registration. Guest users can view projects and their build configurations and do not need any registration to access TeamCity. Number of guest users logged in to TeamCity simultaneously is not limited.

Guest user account suits well for a non-committer who just monitors the projects status on the Projects page.

To allow users log in to TeamCity as guests, an administrator need to enable guest user feature.

Guest user account does not have permission to access the following operations:

  • start new builds and stop running builds
  • monitoring the status of changes integration on My Changes page
  • configure notification rules or receive any notifications
  • view build agent details

In TeamCity Enterprise Edition, system administrator can edit permissions for Guest User account.

For additional information please refer to Enabling Guest Login.
