General

Option Description
Username Depending on the authentication scheme, this field is editable or read-only. If the default authentication scheme is selected, you can specify the user name. For the other authentication schemes, user name is not editable.
Password Use this field to enter password. This field is only available for the default authentication scheme.
Full name
Specify optional full name.

Watched Builds and Notifications

This section shows the list of all notifiers and the state of your subscription (number of watched projects and notification conditions).

Email and Jabber notifications will be sent only after TeamCity server email and Jabber settings has been configured in the Administration page.
The administrator can also customize Email and Jabber notification templates.
Option Description
Email Notifier
Use this section to configure watched builds and notification rules for the email notification.
IDE Notifier
Use this section to configure watched builds and notification rules for the notification via IDE plugins.
Jabber Notifier Use this section to configure watched builds and notification rules for the Jabber notification, and specify your Jabber account.
Windows Tray Notifier Use this section to configure watched builds and notification rules for the notification via Windows Tray.
Edit
Click to change selected notifier settings in the Notifier Settings page.

Version Control Username Settings

This section displays the user names you use in the supported Version Control Systems. By default, the login name is used.

User names you provide here are used only for viewing changes made by the user on the My Changes page. They are not used for authentication for the particular VCS, etc.

Make sure the user names are correct, otherwise you will not be able to track your changes status in the My Changes view.

UI Settings

Option Description
Highlight my changes Enable the option to highlight builds that include your changes (changes committed by a user with the VCS username provided in the Version Control Username Settings section) on the Projects page, Project Home Page, Build Configuration Home Page.

TeamCity Tools

The sidebar section lists all TeamCity tools that ship with the product, and provides links for downloading or customization:

  • IntelliJ IDEA plugin
  • Windows Tray Notifier
  • Visual Studio 2005 plugin
  • Eclipse plugin
  • Syndication feed

Refer to the Installing Tools section for installation details.

Groups tab

This tab contains a list of user groups you are assigned to.

Roles tab

This tab displays a list of projects and the corresponding role (set of permissions) the user has for each project. Roles are assigned to the user by the system administrator.

Notification Rules tab

This tab displays a list of configured notification rules for the current user.
