In TeamCity if a build fails, the developer can set responsibility for a build configuration problems. When responsibility for a failed build is set, the assignee receives a notification.

To set responsibility for a failed build, navigate to:

The Responsibility for dialog opens.

To assign responsibility to yourself or any team member:

  • Select the name from the Who drop-down list and click Set responsibility.

To set responsibility for more than one build configurations:

  • Click more link in Fix field and select the desired build configurations.
