You can save complex search queries for future use.
To Save a Search Query
- Click the Save this search link just below the search box.
- Enter a name for the query in the Save Search dialog box.
- In the Visible for group drop-down list, select a group that you want to share the saved search with.
- In the Updateable for group drop-down list, select a group that you want to grant saved search editing permissions to.
- Click OK. The saved query will appear in the Saved Searches pane to the left of the issue list, just below the Tags pane.
To Invoke a Saved Search
- Enter saved search: in the search box, and select a saved search from the completion list that YouTrack provides, or type the name under which it has been saved.
- Select a saved search in the Saved Searches pane to the left of the issue list.
To Edit a Saved Search
- In the Saved Searches pane, click the edit icon to the right of the saved search:
If the icon doesn't display, then you don't have permissions to edit the saved search.
- In the Edit Saved Search dialog box, edit saved search options, or delete the saved search.
